The Black Panthers will miss training three times, but the coach said everything went smoothly in the fifth game

On the eve of the fifth game of the Stanley Cup final, three key players of the Florida Panthers – Matthew Tekachuk, Sam Bennett, and Aaron Eckblade – were unable to participate in Monday’s training, but coach Paul Morris stated that they were all expected to appear in Tuesday’s (8pm Eastern Time) match against the Edmonton Oilers at the Amherland Bank Arena.

Despite the Black Panthers leading 3-1 in the series, the absence of the players still drew attention from the outside world. However, Morris said of these three players, “Everything is fine.”

In the fourth game of the previous 8-1 defeat, Eckblade played for 19:01 minutes, while Bennett played for 16:03 minutes. Bennett briefly left the field after a collision with Darnell Nurse in the first quarter, but quickly returned to the game afterwards.
Morris also revealed that the lineup for the fifth game may make at least one adjustment, and Ryan Lomborg may replace Steven Lorenz as the left winger on the fourth line. In Monday’s practice, Lomborg trained on the fourth line with Kevin Stanlund and Kyle Okposo.

Lomborg has not participated in any games since the Eastern Conference Finals on May 26th, and has been excluded from the roster as a healthy player for seven consecutive games. He has not scored in the previous five Stanley Cup playoffs.
The other lineup arrangements of the Black Panthers are relatively stable, with captain Alexander Balkov forming the first attacking line with Evan Rodriguez and Sam Reinhardt, while Anton Rendel partnering with Etu Lostarining and Vladimir Tarasenko on the third attacking line.
On the defensive end, Josh Mahura and Gustav Forslin jointly defend the top defensive combination led by Eckblade, while Nico Mikola and Brandon Montur, as well as Oliver Eckman Larson and Dmitry Kulikov, form two other defensive combinations.
